Water issues tackled

The Board of Aldermen of the City of Drexel, Missouri met in Special Session to discuss Resolution #240 on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at City Hall. Mayor Reece called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Resolution #240 was presented, approving the location of the new water tower and lines within the city. Alderman Bush-Wishon moved to place the water tower on State Line Road on the parcel of City owned property, adjacent to the regional storm water retention basin, be approved, and that the line location recommendations, as described in Larkin Groups' May 22, 2008 letter to council, be accepted. Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Musick and approved by a 4-0 vote.
At this time, there was discussion between Council members and the public regarding discussions with PWSD #12 and the pros and cons of the District’s proposal.
