Vo-Ag building takes another step forward; location determined

The Drexel R-IV Board of Education met last Monday, June 21, in the ITV Conference Room. The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, and a moment of silence.
Those members present were: President Christyne Hellebuyck, Vice President Brad Lancaster, Treasurer Kim Hocker, Members Ronnie Jacobs, Brenda hadley, Paula Orton and Chris Collins, Superintendent Dr. Judy Stivers and Secretary Linda Moles. Visitors were: Bill Johnston, Missy Mattingly, Katie Hocker, Kelly Eakes, Kim Wencewicz/MSBA Coordinator, Kynda Harshman, Elaine Hamilton, Judy Daniel, DeaAnn Ackermann, Kelly and Jeff Sims, Tammy Bartholomew, John and Kevin Gunnels, and Larry and Carol Shumate
Motion to approve the consent agenda, consisting of approval of proposed agenda and previous minutes, approval of warrant report, authorization of payment of bills, and approval of financial summary of funds was made by Kim Hocker, seconded by Brad Lancaster, and carried unanimously.
Motion to approve the PDC Annual Report and changes to the 2009-2012 PDC Plan was made by Jacobs, seconded by Orton, and carried unanimously.
Kelly Eakes suggested the preschool enrollment process be altered....
