Santa Claus is Coming to Town

By LACEY GUNNELS
Santa Claus is coming to town again, but not by sleigh, but by train. The Kansas City Southern Holiday Express will be pulling into Drexel on Thursday December 13th at 4:00 p.m. Santa will be on board along with his elves, ready for all cheery faces.
This will be the second time the Holiday Express has pulled into Drexel, the last time was back in 2007 which there were an estimated 1,200 visitors. The retired Kansas City Southern train was decked out in holiday decor. The six-car train included a smiling tank named "Rudy"; a flat car carrying Santa's sleigh, reindeer and a miniature lighted village; a gingerbread box car; the elves workshop; the reindeer stable; and a little red caboose.
Everything inside the train was decked out in christmas decor from ceiling to floor. There were angels, snowmen, tinsel, christmas trees, santas and anything else Christmas you can image.
