A retirement party was held Friday, May 22, for Drexel School Counselor Clarence “CJ” Kellogg in the school Media Center. Faculty, staff, family and friends gathered to wish Clarence well and to thank him for his 13 years of work at Drexel R-IV and the
contribution to the students and co-workers whose lives he touched. The faculty and staff enjoyed
sharing stories and recollections of their time spent with Clarence. Many cards and gifts were presented. Among them were an engraved, musical bell from the Board of Education and a Drexel Bobcat fishing chair from the Community Teachers Association (CTA). His career in education spans 27 total years and includes prior service in the school districts of Harrisburg, Jamestown, Stet, Miami and Rich Hill. He and his wife Sharon (Miller) plan to do more fishing and spend more time in their Texas getaway. They make their home in Butler, MO. Courtesy photo
