Over 200 Cass County Farm Bureau members honor Anna Lee Davenport at annual meeting

Over 200 members of the Cass County Farm Bureau gathered at the Harrisonville Community Center Monday, August 25, for their Annual Meeting and to honor one of their own who has given unprecedented time and commitment to the causes of the organization. Anna Lee Davenport was recognized for serving over 40 years as a Cass County Board member along with late husband, L.D. Davenport, and for the couple being members over 60 years.
“The Missouri Farm Bureau cannot find records of any other couple in our organization who have served their local community as board members for that long,” said Cass County Farm Bureau President Mike Legleiter. “Truly, this is unprecedented.”
