Noon whistle to be repaired

The noon whistle has seemed to be a thing of the past.... but the City of Drexel is working on it! According to the city, the siren was damaged in the June 15th storm and it has since been repaired. However, the timer is not currently activating the alarm at noon and they are still working on that part. No word on when they will have it up and running again. The siren can be set off manually, if need be, in the event of a storm.
