Local girl finishes in first place at Cass County poetry contest


The Cass County Public Library Poetic Voices 2009 Poetry Competition was held last Thursday, April 23rd at the Cass County Public Library, Harrisonville Branch. Two are girls competed in the contest.
Felecia Buck, Drexel, won first place in the poetry contest! Buck competed with 20 other qualifying teen poets from across the county. Felecia is an area home schooler. Pictured is Buck reciting her poem, The Voice of Revenge.
