Drexel R-IV School District is proud to introduce two new administrators to their already outstanding staff.
Bill Johnston has been named the new Superintendent of Schools.
He and his wife Carolyn have five children; Linzy, 18, Livia, 17, Tucker, 15, Jayvn, 14, and Braylen, 11. Carolyn is a guidance counselor at the Harrisonville High School.

Johnston is currently working on his Specialist Degree at UMKC University.

Johnston wants to actively evaluate what the strengths and weaknesses of the district are and to continue to make sure our district is keeping the focus on what’s best for all the kids. To do this, says Johnston, we will have to continue to work together during this tough economic time. Johnston has an open-door policy; he appreciates how the community supports the district and welcomes all to his office, or any other administrative office for that matter, to discuss any questions or concerns one may have.
