Fire Protection District approaches City Council for fire dues increase

On Tuesday, June 24th, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., a meeting was held at the Drexel City Hall with Police Chief Jon Carpenter, Reserve Sgt. Richard Behrend, Mayor Kenny Reece, Alderman Sue Bush Wishon and Alderman Doug Musick present. The call for the meeting was to discuss written and signed affidavits alleging Behrends involvement in inappropriate conduct between himself and three teenage girls two weeks prior.
