Drexel residents injured in two vehicle accident on 71 HWY

Two Drexel residents were injured in a two vehicle accident in Cass County, that also involved a third Drexel resident. The accident occurred at 12:11 p.m., on Wednesday September 3, on U.S. 71 Highway at 307th Street, near the area of the Halfway Restaurant.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a southbound, 1999 Ford F-150, driven by Russell B. Lee, 82, of Drexel was attempting to turn east onto 307th Street.
