Drexel represented at Cass County Day at Capital

A tour bus left Pleasant Hill bright and early on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 bound for Jefferson City, Missouri. It was Cass County Day at the State Capital. On the bus, several Cass County business leaders and representatives, including Drexel business owners Bob Miller and Sue Bush Wishon. While at the Capital, the pair attended meetings in the morning with MoDOT and Missouri Department of Natural Resources, then lunch and in the afternoon meet with the Department of Education and Economic Development, and visited with Representatives Scott Largent and David Pearce. “It was quite a learning opportunity on how to get your projects noticed and funded,” commented Wishon. Wishon attended Cass County Day at the Capital as a representative of the Drexel Community Development Corporation and the City of Drexel.
