Drexel First Baptist Church to celebrate 80th year dedication

The story of it’s existence is told on the cornerstone of the church. On September 29, 1929 the current building of the Drexel Baptist Church was erected. The original church was organized on May 9, 1893. This Sunday, October 4th, 2009, the Drexel First Baptist Church, and Pastor Steve Donnelly, invites members and non-members to help celebrate the 80th year of dedication of the original building. Worship Service will begin at 10:15 a.m. and will feature the rededicating of the building and observing the Lord’s Supper, all will be followed with a pot luck dinner. From 1:00-2:00 p.m. the public is invited to view the Sanctuary. Photos by Stacy Rice
