In accordance with National FFA Week last week, the local Drexel Chapter organized several activities at the school. On Wednesday, Drexel members prepared and served breakfast to the teachers and sponsored an Ag Power Day for the elementary students last Friday. During Ag Power Day, a project of the Ag Science I class, FFA members performed an agricultural melodrama, giving presentations on agricultural commodities and played a “Name that Ag Product” with the young students. Pictured, Treasurer Dayton Antley and Parliamentarian Chris Wilson inform kindergarteners about the dairy industry during Ag Power Day. Ag Science I students researched and prepared presentations on MO’s agricultural commodities and conservation. This group received ice cream after their presentation.
