Drexel Fall Festival to be held October 4

The City of Drexel was looking for a community event for the autumn season and the Log Cabin Quilters were looking for a new venue for their annual quilt show. After much discussion, it was decided to recreate the Fall Festival. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 at H.T. Smith Park. The quilt show will be held in the Community Center. The fun starts at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 6:00 p.m.
After weeks of diligent planning, discussing and the recruitment of vendors, the city has announced that nearly fifty vendors, offering a variety of foods and crafts, will be on site. A full line up of entertainment will also be included. Along with local talent...
