DCBC hears development plans for Cass county growth
The Drexel Community Betterment Corporation met on Tuesday, August 27th for their monthly meeting.
A delicious lunch, hosted by Welborn’s Thriftway, was catered at the Community Center for the noon luncheon meeting by Old Aubry BBQ. The meal consisted of Salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls, corn, steamed cabbage and carrots, cucumbers and onions salad, and cheesecake for dessert. Those present were: Mike Fisher, Peggy Moles, Kara Smith, Sue Bush, Ken Reece, Jon Carpenter, Stacy Rice, Amanda Romi, Marc Finke, Ann Packingham, Ted Kasper, Bill Harris, Carol Pranulis, Tina Miller, Anita Brown, Jim and Carol Welborn, Patsy Stewart, Bob Miller, Dave Alburty, Tyler Black, and guests Todd Goffee, Craig Arnold, Kyle Holtgraves, and Tanya Williams.
The invocation was kindly provided by Tyler Black, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited to start the meeting.
Treasurer Greg Mullinax had pressing business precluding his attendance. Three new DCBC members were announced: Bill Harris of Rutlader’s Landing, Ted Kasper of NAPA Auto Parts, and Bob and Tina Miller of the Dollar Store and Drexel Fitness Center. An expense of $10 for the Missouri Secretary of State’s annual report registration was announced by Dave Alburty. An updated Treasurer’s report will be prepared for the next meeting.
