Committee receives recycling program grant

The Cass County Sustainability Committee has been awarded a $16,349 grant to provide recycling education and begin a revolving drop-off recycling program in the cities of Peculiar, Drexel, Garden City and Freeman.
The grant application was approved by the Mid America Regional Council Solid Waste Management District Executive Board.
