Be a part of the 2008 MO Mock election

On October 30, 2008, students of all ages – from kindergarten through college – will vote in an election simulation, as part of the National Student/Parent Mock Election, that will give them a voice in our democracy today and will help them become better citizens for tomorrow.
Through the National Student/Parent Mock Election, children in Missouri may vote in mock elections held by their schools, in their classrooms, within their clubs and at home with their families. You can register an entire school, a classroom, your Girl Scout or Boy Scout troop or other club, your family or simply yourself. There is no cost to participate, just great rewards.
The Missouri Bar and the Missouri Press Association are partnering to coordinate Missouri’s participation in this national voter education program, which gives young Americans the chance to make their voices heard in the electoral process, by creating a teacher guide for the mock election.
