Approval granted to move forward in agriculture building project

School Board approves next step in getting vo ag building.

The Drexel Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, November 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the school. members present were: President Christyne Hellebuyck, Vice President Brad lancaster, Treasurer Kim Hocker, Members Chuck Martin, Ronnie Jacobs, Brenda Hadley and Chris Collins, Superintendent Dr. Judy Stivers, Elementary Principal Jeff Levy, JH/HS Principal Robbie Shepherd, and Secretary to the Board, Linda Moles. Several visitors were in attendance at the meeting.
After a brief executive session attended by all of the Board members, the meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Christyne Hellebuyck. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, and a moment of silence.
Motion to approve the consent agenda, consisting of approval of proposed agenda and previous minutes, approval of warrant report, authorization of payment of bills, and approval of financial summary of funds was made by Kim Hocker, seconded by Brenda Hadley, and carried unanimously.
Harold Seba thanked the board members, staff, and community members that donated time and energy in upgrading the baseball fields and redoing the football field. Harold told of countless hours and efforts put forth by the volunteers on behalf of the students and community.
Chuck Martin made a motion to approve the program evaluation form, and authorize Mr. Shepherd to evaluate the program. Motion was seconded by Chris Collins, and carried unanimously.
