The Drexel Star is looking for a copy of the Drexel Centennial History Book. We seem to have never had our own copy. If you have a spare copy please call the office at 657-2222. Thank you.

The February meeting of the Interdenominational Ladies group, Berries and Blossoms will be held on Sunday, February 28 at 4 p.m. at the  Nazarene Church.  The theme for the meeting is “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” Katie Boffman will bring the devotions on  Storms of Life. Light refreshments will be served.  All women of the Drexel area are invited to join the group for fellowship.  The Berries and Blossoms Steering Committee has announced a Ladies Retreat planned for the weekend of April 9-10. Details will follow later.

The Drexel National Honor Society will be serving tacos as part of Senior Night during the games this Friday evening. Come out and show your support!

For those interested in assisting with the operation of the Drexel Pool or in being a member of the 2010 Board, there will be a meeting on February 9, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center. Please attend if you are interested in assisting or joining.

Would you like your kids to stay a little closer to home after Winter Formal? Well, you’re in luck, parents are putting together a breakfast after Winter Formal again this year.  They will be serving pancakes, bacon, juice and milk, and perhaps biscuits and gravy. They are asking for monetary donations to help cover costs or donations of juice, milk, etc.
