Yea!! for Field Day

Well sort of... Mother Nature may have dampened the spirits of the Drexel Elementary students last Friday by not allowing Field Day to be performed outdoors, but staff at the school saw things differently. “Rain, rain, go away” was sung through the halls as teachers and administration created fun activities for the students on their special day. Pictured at right, senior Brittany Page helps a bunch of 1st graders lift the huge parachute as students run back and forth underneath.
