Ruth May Hudson - 1927 - 2013

Ruth May Hudson was born on March 3, 1927, in Miami County, Kansas, to Thomas and Daisy Endecott. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 15, 2013. She grew up near Drexel, Missouri and was the youngest of ten children. She was raised on a farm and always loved a good meal with family and friends.

A celebration of life was held at the Bear Valley Church on August 24, 2013.

Mary Rapp, 86, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services were held December 20 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Milo Cemetery, Milo, Missouri.

Sarah Isabel Kern May Spielbusch 1919 - 2013

Sarah Isabel (Kern) May Spielbusch, age 94 years, 9 months, 22 days, of Drexel, MO passed away on December 15, 2013 at Black Hawk Assisted Living in Spring Hill, KS. Isabel was born on February 23,  1919 in Miami County, KS to Ray Fred and Ferol (McCoy) Kern.

Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Mullinax Funeral Home – Drexel Chapel, Drexel, with Rev. Steve Donnelly officiating. Music by Chris Crowe. Interment in Sharon Cemetery, near Drexel. Memorials may be given to Drexel First Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice.

Robert (Bob) Clinton DeForest 1931 - 2013

Robert (Bob) Clinton DeForest; 82, Paola, KS, died December 12, 2013. Robert was born July 21,1931 at Merwin, MO. He was the son of Rodney B. and Opal (Harris) DeForest.

Cremation is being handled by Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri. No memorial service is planned at this time.

Landon Levon Stafford 1977 - 2013

Landon Levon Stafford, Warsaw, Missouri formerly of Harrisonville, Missouri; suddenly left this earthly life Wednesday, November 13, 2013; a victim of a house fire.

Family will accept your visit of sympathy and condolences, Sunday December 8, 2013, 2-4 pm at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Inurnment at the Stafford Family Cemetery, Bradleyville, Missouri will be determined at a future time.  

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested for Shepherd’s Food Pantry of Harrisonville and Stafford Family Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
