Susie Elfreda Bullock Rea

Susie Rea, 68, of La Porte, Texas passed away on May 2nd, 2013. She was born in LaCygne, KS on July, 15th, 1944 to Chester and Opal Hunziker Bullock. Susie also attended school and graduated from Drexel High School. For more information about the obituary read the May 16th Drexel Star newspaper.

Laura Mae Belle (Gillogly) Eggleston 1915-2013

Laura Mae Belle (Gillogly) Eggleston, age 97, passed away on April 5, 2013 at her home near Louisburg, Kansas. Laura Mae was born April 25, 1915 to Oscar Calvert and Katherine Fidelia (Windisch) Gillogly, the second of seven children raised on the family farm in Middle Creek Township, southeast of Louisburg.

Betty Lou Oram 1930-2013

Betty Lou Oram, age 82, of Drexel, Missouri, formerly of Paola, Kansas, died April 1, 2013 at her home.
Betty was born April 5, 1930 at Paola, Kansas. She was the oldest of nine children born to Louellen and Nettie (Russell) McKinney. She graduated from Osawatomie High School. She continued her education after high school to obtain her license to become a nurse’s aide.
She was united in marriage to Frankie Victor Oram on February 2, 1948 at Fort Scott, Kansas. They became the parents of six children.
Betty had worked as a nurse’s aide in California and Paola.

Terry Dale Kaufman 1959-2013

Terry Kaufman, 53, of Drexel, Missouri passed away on February 16, 2013. Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Westpoint Cemetery, Amsterdam, Missouri. Terry was born in Paola, Kansas on February 25, 1959 to James A. and Gloria Kaufman. He served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.
Terry is also survived by his best friends John Colton and Quentin Dalton, whom he spent most of his free time with. Also in his spare time, Terry enjoyed painting, writing, working on cars and spending time in the woods hunting for morels.

Ralph C. Elliott 1929-2013

Ralph C. Elliott, age 83, Mound City, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was born on December 18, 1929 at New Lancaster, Kansas the son of Ralph R. and Arletta Cavender Elliott. He served his country in the National Guard. He worked as a terminal manager for Phillip's Petroleum for 32 years before retiring. Ralph enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with his family. He was preceded in death his parents, a son, Randy, a daughter, Martha Rose, and two brothers, Donald and Leonard Elliott.
