Obituaries

Melvin Loyd Clark, 87, of Drexel, MO., formerly of Stilwell, KS, passed away January 15, 2012 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. 
Visitation was from 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Stilwell, 19950 Broadmoor Ln, Stilwell. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, at the church with Dr. Bill Johnson and Pastor Steven Donnelly officiating. Burial will follow in Aubry Cemetery.

Kenneth Robert Trewett, 83, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away on January 9, 2012.
At Kenneth’s request he was cremated and no funeral service was held. Family gathering was held at Grace Baptist Church in Richland, Missouri. A Masonic Service will be held at a later date.

Edna (Heuer) Soule of Moberly passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 2011 surrounded by family. She had endured a long period of declining health.
Visitation was held at Cater Funeral Home on Friday, December 30 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Services were at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Oakland Cemetery.

Luther E. Brewer, 81, formerly of Drexel, MO and Olathe, KS, passed away July 27, 2010 at his home in Daytona Beach, FL.
Luther was born in Amarugia, Missouri on July 5, 1929.
Services were Sunday, August 1st, at 1:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. Burial followed. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to the Central Auto Racing Boosters, 17580 Stubbs Station Rd., Platte City, MO 64079.

Danielle Nicole Burton Lomax, age 26 of Louisburg, KS, was suddenly taken away from her family on June 23, 2010.
Danielle was born on September 3, 1983 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Sharon Bishop and Michael Burton.
