The Drexel Bobcats had their first game of the season November 25th as they hosted the Lone Jack Mules. The Varsity boys hit the floor running and never let the Mules lead them as they came up with a 67-37 final score.
The Junior Varsity boys team attacked the Mules and came out on top with a big 65-23 win. With the entire junior varsity team made up entirely of sophomores and freshmen, they are young and have a lot to prove. This team is going to have a very exciting season. They will need community support throughout the season, so put them on your schedule.

Drexel Fire Captains Sheryl Greene and Cody Crumby, firefighters Kyler Parscale and Chaz Needham and Police Chief Jon Carpenter were on hand to talk to the children and give them information on fire safety.
Students were able to explore a brush truck, fire engine and the Drexel Police Department’s newest cruiser. They were then able to ask the firefighters questions to help them understand about the details of the job.
