Family

The Shipley family who lived in the Amarugia area west of Everett, in Cass County, gathered for their forty second family reunion on June 9, 2013 at the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church in Archie, Missouri. A basket dinner was enjoyed and that afternoon was spent visiting and taking pictures. Family from out of state was from Texas, Colorado. and Kansas. The Women's Health Services Belton Clinics will be held September 5th, 6th, 11th, 19th, 20th, and 25th. The Clinic is located at 119 Congress Street in Belton, MO. Appointments are also available for supply pick up. Harrisonville Clinics will be held September 12th and 26th.

Eight members of the Lisle Home Club met in the home of Peggy Shipley for a salad luncheon on August 28th. The minutes of the July meeting was read and approved. Louise gave the treasurer's report. The next meeting will be September 25th.

Mary and Sody Geuy of Drexel, Missouri will celebrate their 70th Wedding Anniversary on January 24th. The couple exchanged vows on January 24, 1942 at the Methodist Parsonage in Ft. Scott, KS.
