Lady Winds come visiting

Last Tuesday night, September 29th, the Lady Cats took on their big rival from the east, the Archie Whirlwinds.
The Lady Winds met their match in the first game as Drexel took a nice lead and managed to hold on for a 25-23 victory. This evidently stirred the fire in the Archie girls as they came back with vengeance winning the second game 11-25 and handing the Lady Cats another loss in the final game by a convincing margin of 7-25. This of course gave the Lady Winds the match and continued their dominance in the WEMO conference standings.
Individual Stats: Serving Points; Gunnels 6, Collins 5 and Hocker 3. Aces: Gamache, Hocker and Vlieger each with 1. Kills: Gamache and Gunnels 3, Hocker 2 and Lane 1. Assists: Collins 4, Lane 2 and Vlieger 1. Hocker came up with 2 blocks.
