Lady Cats play first softball game

The Lady Cats traveled to Adrian April 9th to play their opening game against a talented group of Lady Blackhawks.
The girls faired well even though they were beaten by the final score of 10-3. Katie Hocker, Chelsea Bauer and Marissa Bauer scored the only runs for our hometown team.
Adrian’s pitcher did a very good job and the Lady Cats had a little trouble hitting her fast pitches.
“Marissa Bauer and Tara Freeman were the defensive standouts at 3rd and 2nd bases respectively,” commented Coach Meerkatz.
