Lady Cats meet superb Lady Indians

Prior to the game on Friday night, the 20th, the nice crowd was entertained with the presentation of our National Anthem played on guitars by Ellen Shannon and Megan Lane.
Immediately following this nice rendition, our Lady Cats clashed with a very good group of Lady Indians from Osceola on Courtwarming night. Although playing on their home court, Drexel was unable to tame the talented girls from Osceola. The Lady Indians who are ranked 6th in Division 2A in the state of Missouri were led by their extremely talented junior Jordan Garrison. She seemed to be able to score at will. She drove the lane and the base line for numerous lay ups as well as being able to shoot threes from the outside. In spite of this fact and the fact that Osceola spurted off to a big lead in the first few minutes of the game, the Lady Cats continued to play hard and was able to net a respectable 49 points although loosing to the Lady Indians who scored 62.
