Lady Cats compete in semi-finals in tourney

After getting past Appleton City in the first round of the WEMO Tournament in good fashion, the Lady Cats meet the number 2 seeded Adrian Blackhawks. The girls fought tough against the bigger and stronger Blackhawk girls in the first half and was trailing by only 5 points. The third quarter became the downfall for Drexel as they were out scored 22-9. The ladies continued to play hard but Adrian hit 4 treys in the 3rd quarter along with 4 two pointers and were 2 for 2 at the free throw line. Adrian was hot all night from the top of the circle with a total of 5 treys.
