Lady Cats advance in WEMO tourney

The game started with a wow as Appleton City received the tip and Kaufman quickly stole the ball and Drexel led by 2. The Lady Bulldogs came to play also as with a couple 3s and good rebounding suddenly had run the score to 2-12 in favor of A.C. The Lady Cats came together and pulled within 5 at the quarter but still trailed by 9-14.
The second quarter began with Kendrick driving to the basket for a lay-up while being fouled. She completed the old fashioned 3 point play with a made free throw. The comeback continued as Kaufman steals the ball for an easy basket and Hocker is doing a nice job on the boards with 3 quick rebounds and a couple put backs for 4 more points. Drexel 19, A.C. 16. Vlieger got good position with a pass from Kaufman for 2 more.
Meanwhile, the Lady Cats committed.....
