Fun time had at local course

On Saturday, July 11, 2009, a fun event for golfers was held at The Hill Sandgreen Golf Course in Drexel. Tee-time was held at 5:00 p.m. sharp for 18 holes of golf at the local course.
Later in the evening, golfers took a break to devour a smoked meat dinner, smoked and prepared by Todd Russell of “Gettin’ Piggy With It.” After the very nice meal, nine holes of night golf, also known as playing glo-ball, began.
Twenty-five golfers had a great time. Results of the tournament were: the 3rd place team composed of Joe Gunnels, Brad Lancaster, Kenny Virgin, Bob Thomas and Steve Gunnels. 2nd place team players were, Brian Kaufman, Todd Russell, Cody Kaufman and Tom Burke. The 1st place team composed of B.T. Webb, Craig Freeman, Steve Pederson and Bret LaCrosse.
