Drexel does well in first meets

The Drexel Cross Country Team headed to Midway for the first Two-Mile meet of the season. Nine schools participated in the meet.
The Drexel Lady Cats took the girls 3rd place finish in the overall varsity division with a team score of 71.
Jacklynn Williams finished in 9th in a time of 14:37. Tara Freeman finihsed 13th with a time of 15:27. Jessi Gunnels finished in 17th with a time of 15:37. Nicole Vlieger finished in 21st with a time of 16:02. Jessica Sanders finished 29th with a time of 18:27 and Dayton Antley wrapped up in 29th with a time of 13:42.
On September 5th the Drexel Bobcats traveled to Belton to participate in the Cass County Invitational Meet. The Drexel girls finished 2nd overall in the Newcomer Division.
