Drexel Bobcats open season learning against Archie

Bobcat Boys Basketball officially began on Tuesday night with an opening round bout with the number one seeded team in the WEMO Tournament. With no returning starters and only one returning letter winner, the boys spent the late evening learning.
Archie jumped off to a big lead and never looked back. They eventually won the game by a large margin of 64 to 22.
Blake Seba was leading scorer with 7 points, Keifer Shipley with 5, Brett Moles and Blake Hadley each with 4 and Joe Roberts with 2. Blake Seba also led in rebounding with 6 and was closely followed by Kiefer Shipley, Brett Moles and Joe Roberts all with 5.
The boys shot 24% from the field and 40% at the free throw line. They had 15 defensive rebounds and 10 on the offensive boards. Turnovers were a problem for the young Bobcats but with their dedication and the coaching available to them, this should improve drastically over the year.
