Drexel’s Meet Your Team night held last Friday

An evening of fun and games was conducted by the Drexel Bobcat Booster Club Friday evening, November 20th. Cake Walk, Free Throw Shooting, Three Point Shooting, 50-50, and Dash for Cash were some of the favorites.
Three point shooting sixth grade and under winners: Trevor Gunnels 1st, Mason Willy 2nd and Marshall Rooney 3rd. 7th & 8th grade: Tyler Allen 1st and Chris Moles 2nd. High school: Justin Thomas 1st and Trevor Stewart 2nd. Adults: Michael Gillis 1st and Doug Schibi 2nd. Free Throw: 6th and under; Trevor Gunnels 1st and Mason Willy 2nd. 7th & 8th; Mark Willy 1st and Chris Moles 2nd. High School; Bailey Kendrick 1st and Jacklyn Williams 2nd. Adults: Michael Gillis 1st and Randy Hocker 2nd. Ladone Hettinger was the lucky winner of the 50-50 and Brett Moles picked up over $30 dollars in the Dash for Cash. A Half Court Shoot Out was for prizes only and Jessica Sanders was the first to be successful in making the shot.
Next came the introduction of the Cheerleaders: High School: Freshman Arielle West, Sophomore McKenna Hathcock, Juniors Eliza Rooney and Annie Orton, Seniors Kelsey Irvin and Captain Ellen Shannon. Junior High: 8th grade Kyla Harris (Captain), Taylor Self, Stephan Ogden, Josh Eberra and Tabitha Koehn. 7th grade: Becky Sutcliffe, LeAnn Fordyce, Tristian Frentrop and Shea Rose. The girls then did a short routine of a couple of their cheers. Nice to have such an interest in cheerleading this year. Cheerleading can add a lot of spirit to the teams.
