The Drexel Bobcats hosted the Chilhowee Indians last Friday for Courtwarming.
J. Roberts starts the game with an assist to Cooley, Cooley makes a 3, then it was Cooley to Seba to Bolton for a fast break lay up. J. Roberts with a put back, Seba to J. Roberts for 2 and Bolton ends the scoring in the first stanza with a 2 “and 1”. Behind the good play of Culbertson of Chilhowee, the Indians take a lead of 14-18 after one.
Cooley and J. Roberts start the second with 4 from J. Roberts and 2 from Cooley. Chilhowee continues to play well with the hot shooting of Cisneros and Culbertson. Russell answers with a 2 after faking a 3. Seba gets 2 with a 6 feet jumper from the base line. Bolton drives the lane for 2 and Drexel has climbed back into the lead at half time 26-22.
The half time ceremonies saw seniors J. Roberts and Baylee Kendrick being crowned King and Queen by last year’s King and Queen Cody Breuer and Jessi Gunnels. Emily Collins and Chris Wilson represented the Sophomore Class, Eliza Rooney and Ashton Raffety the Junior Class while Nikki Quisenberry and Austin Davis were the Freshmen Candidates.

This gives the starters a rest and maybe allows them to see what Chilhowee is trying to do. Whatever the reason, it seemed to work as the starters came back in and quickly outscored the Indians 18 to 4 with some of their best basketball of the season.
This rather took the wind from the sails of the Indians as the Bobcats led after 3 periods 52-36.
The fourth quarter begins with Moles scoring a put back, Seba rebounds and makes an out let pass to Hadley who is fouled making 1 of 2. Cooley gets two assists to Bolton and Seba then Moles gets....
