Bobcats fall to Eagles in hard fought loss

The Drexel Bobcats played a tough game last Friday night to end their 2008 homecoming week as they took on Jasper in a non-conference matchup.
The Cats came out spirit filled and pumped up as sophomore quarterback, Austin Allen, posted the first score of the game in the first quarter after a 27 yard run and a successful point after to put the Cats up 7-0.
The second quarter proved to be a challenge for the Cats as they allowed Jasper 13 points and the lead. Drexel wasn’t back down though as senior running back Nathan Crim ran back a 74 yard kick return to gain the Bobcats the lead going in to halftime, 14-13.
