Bobcats dominate Marksmen

Wednesday night, May 6th, the Marksmen of Sherwood came to visit. The Bobcats almost put the game away in the first inning when they scored 5 runs. They continued hitting the ball well throughout the evening and scored a nice total of 14 runs while holding Sherwood to 5.
Cody Breuer was the starting pitcher and pitched the first inning. He only faced 4 batters in the inning but the only one that he did not get out unfortunately slammed a home run. He did a fine job only allowing the one run.
Jared Jacobs pitched the next 3 and 1/3 innings only allowing 4 runs. After catching 4 and 1/3 innings, Austin Allen relieved Jabobs on the mound with one out in the 5th. Austin finished the game recording all of his outs except one with strikeouts. While facing 13 batters and allowing no scores, he struck out 7 batters.
The bats were busy for the Bobcats getting 14 hits. Allen 4, Shipley 4, Young 3, while Antley, Seba and Roberts each recorded 1. Seba scored 4 runs, Allen 3, Young 2 and Antley, Shipley, Breuer, Jacobs and Roberts each touched home once.
