Baseball in the cold!

With short notice, the Bobcats braved the cold and headed to Adrian for a make-up game Wednesday, April 8th.
With starting pitcher Young, who pitched five innings against Sherwood and gave up only one run, having an ailing arm, Seba stepped up to the plate. The weather was a factor, having trouble finding the strike zone, and four errors behind him, Drexel quickly fell behind after 2 innings 6-0. Four of the runs were unearned. In the 2nd inning, a Blackhawk cunningly swung at a wild pitch on the third strike and made it to first, thus leading to 3 of the unearned runs.
Allen came in as relief in the 4th and the Bobcats’ fielding greatly improved only committing one error in the next three innings. Adrian scored one....
