The Drexel Bobcats officially kicked off their season Monday, August 9th as football, volleyball and cross country teams held their first two-a-day practices.
The Bobcats are underway, toward a season to remember, as teams pour their sweat out on their respected fields of choice in attempts at bettering last season’s records. The Lady Cats and Bobcats are practicing hard twice a day to get ready for their season openers as they present themselves to the community. Due to the dreadful heat the area is experiencing, the Drexel coaching staff are taking extra precautions with necessary breaks and lots of water for the athletes. Also, two-a-day practice schedules have been altered to “beat the heat.”
Meet the Team night is set for August 31 during the Drexel volleyball vs. Lakeland. Come out and support your Bobcat teams this year with the spirit they are working hard at earning.
