Quarter number two was the deciding point in the game as Drexel outscored their visitors 14 to 3.
The second half was pretty much of a standstill as the two teams matched basket for basket much of the way. Drexel continued to hold their lead and finished with a convincing win by the score of 50 to 37.
As a team, the Lady Cats made 18 of 53 shots from the field for 34%. They also had 9 assists, 26 rebounds, 13 steals and 1 blocked shot while committing only 11 turnovers. They had a very good night at the line making 10 of 12 for 83%.
Kendrick was the leading scorer with 22, Russell 13, Hocker 8, Gunnels 3 and Shipley and McAnany rounded out the numbers with 2 each. McAnany pulled down 11 rebounds, Hocker 8 while Russell and Gunnels each grabbed 7.
