The local baseball team started off on the right foot last Tuesday when they hosted the Osceola Indians. However, their 3-0 lead well into the 3rd inning was cut short when the Indians put four up and continued to dominate to the finish. The Drexel boys couldn’t protect the plate and fell to the travelers, 14-8.

Traveling was the name of the game last week when the Drexel Bobcats took the baseball team on the road for two straight days of game contests. The local club first traveled to Hume to contest their skills last Thursday, April 15th.
Drexel held a 4-0 lead well into the 5th inning when Hume scored for the first time. The Bobcats were held from putting runs on the scoreboard again until the 7th inning where they and the Hornets both put three more tally’s each on the board.
