Drexel VFW Post 4347 supports wounded veterans


Drexel VFW Post 4347 hosted hunters from Camp Valor Outdoors during this year’s rifle deer season.  Camp Valor Outdoors is a non-profit organization located in Kingsville, MO. 

Drexel 4th graders continue a Thanksgiving tradition


Kelly Sims' and Jamee Holt's fourth grade classes held their annual Thanksgiving play and feast on Tuesday, November 18th. The event was held at the Drexel Community Building and was attended by family members of the fourth graders.

Drexel students honor veterans


Drexel High School Student Council hosted its Annual Veterans Day Assembly Tuesday, November 11, 2014. STUCO President Chasiti Clayton welcomed local veterans and thanked them for their service.

Drexel R-IV “Stress Relief” Professional Development Day Turns Out “PURRRRFECT”


On November 12th, the Drexel R-IV administration decided the staff at Drexel deserved a day just to remember what it is like to laugh!! Mr. Bolton informed the staff how much they are appreciated and the difference they make each and every day. During his talk there was a noise at the kitchen door and when he went to investigate, it was the …. CATSUIT GUYS!!!!

The CATSUIT GUYS are John Stoner, a 1999 graduate of Drexel, and his life-long friend Paul Long. They gained notoriety during the Royals season and have been helping people feel good ever since.

Third consecutive Archie tournament championship for Drexel Bobcats


The Drexel Bobcats participated in the 84th Annual Archie Tournament last week. The first game of the tourney for the Cats was a match up with the Adrian Blackhawks on January 28th. The Cats walked away with a huge 64-33 victory. “This was a good way to start the tournament. We were able to get production from everyone”, said Head Coach Dennis Bolton.
