Observing School Board Recognition Week
Missourians benefit every day from the dedicated energies and countless hours devoted by a group of more than 3,600 men and women in every community across the state. These public servants are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts. These men and women are the local school board members of Missouri.
More break-ins reported to Drexel Police, suspect named
The Drexel Police Department has been rather busy these past few weeks working on apprehending those responsible for break-ins and thefts within the Drexel city limits.

he final list of candidates for the April 6, 2010 election was completed Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the end of business hours. Several more people have signed up for various offices, including the two open seats on the Bates County Hospital Board. The candidates and offices for which they have filed are as follows:
